Duke Employee Discounts

Want to learn Spanish, hone your management skills or earn a certificate?

Duke Continuing Studies is offering Duke employees discounts on selected summer and fall courses, weekend programs and professional certificates. Registration deadlines, starting dates and fees vary. Free information sessions will be offered this summer for many courses.

Below are certificate and course discounts. Check the specific program web site for more details. If you have questions, call 919-684-6259. To request a reduced employee fee when registering, just add the code "Employee" to your form.

Nonprofit Management spring courses (September - December 2009)
Discount: Employee fee is $10 off each course held in Durham only

Paralegal Studies Certificate
Fall program begins September 9th in Durham.
Free Information Sessions: June 23, July 28 and August 18.
Discount: Employee fee is $200 off $5395 ($5195)

Culture and Language Evening and Weekend courses
Registration begins in December. Classes start in January. 
Discount:  Employee fee is 20 percent off regular course fee

Test Preparation Courses
Topics: GMAT, LSAT, SAT, ACT, TOEFL-iBT
Registration begins in December.  Classes start in January.
Discount:  Employee fee is 10-15% discount off regular course fee

Human Resource Management Certificate
Classes start in September and February.
Discount: Employee fee is $100 off $1395 ($1295)
Books included in tuition.

Financial Planning Certificate
Programs start in September and February.
Discount:  Employee fee is $100 off $5400 ($5300)
Fee does not include books.

Essentials of Human Resource Management Certificate
Classes start in October and March.
Discount: Employee fee is $50 off $595 ($545)
Books included in tuition.

Global Human Resource Management Certificate
Classes start in October and April.
Discount:  Employee fee is $100 off $1,495 ($1,395)
Books included in tuition.

Internal Auditing Certificate
Classes start in September.
Discount: Employee fee is $100 off $2,195 ($2095) for entire series or $15 off posted fee for individual courses. Fee includes books.

Legal Nurse Consultant Program
Program is offered in fall and spring.
Discount: Employee fee is $200 off $2,195 ($1,995)
Book included in tuition.

Treasury Management Certificate
Classes start in September.
Discount: Employee fee is $100 off $1,500 ($1,400)
Fee includes books.

Duke Youth Programs - summer camps
Day/Extended Day Campers - $50.00 off total tuition
Residential Campers - $100.00 off total tuition
