Dave Mancina, CPA, CIA
Dave is the Chief Auditing Executive for Unifi, Inc. based in Greensboro, North Carolina.  Unifi is a world leader in the manufacturing of synthetic polyester and nylon yarns. He has overall responsibility for the internal audit department and is currently engaged in the company's Sarbanes-Oxley 404 certification process.

Prior to Unifi, Dave was a Project Manager for Tropicana products were he was responsible for designing and reviewing business processes associated with a new software system the company was installing. Dave also served as an Audit Manager with Dow Chemical where he re-designed audit programs to adapt to Global system conversion (SAP), redesigned and updated the Audit Procedures Manual, and developed the Internal Audit Intranet Home Page. He also served as Assistant Director of Internal Audit for Handleman Company and as Director of Internal Audit for Republic Automotive Parts, Inc.

He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Education and Business/Accounting and a Master of Business Administration in Business/Finance from Wayne State University. He is currently a member of the Greensboro, North Carolina chapter of The IIA.
