Documentary Studies
Overview
In partnership with the Center for Documentary Studies, we offer a certificate for adults interested in learning to do their own documentary work.
Photography, film and video, audio, and writing are the broad areas of focus, and you’ll learn hands-on skills. Topics include documentary traditions, techniques, fieldwork, theory, and ethics involved in conducting and presenting documentary work.
Working toward the Certificate provides a formal process for involvement and for reaching specific goals.
