| Prerequisite: ESL Teaching: In a Nutshell In many ways, teaching is about communication. In this interactive class, you will discover elements of communication and classroom interaction as they apply to teaching and lesson planning. You will also explore possible solutions to common classroom management and teaching challenges through case studies and discussions. Students will be expected to complete 5 hours of observation during this course. This is a 6-week course, a skip date will be announced once class has begun. Dean Storelli was lead teacher and academic director of the Duke Summer Institute in English Language and U.S. Culture. He holds a Master's degree in English as a Second Language from Columbia University. | ||
