| The demand for ESL tutoring in the Triangle has risen in the last few years due to increasing ESL population in the area. This course will talk about the business of tutoring and tutoring as a business. It will highlight the "how to" of starting a business and discuss some techniques and materials for tutoring. Please bring a bag lunch. Emma Dempsey earned her Master's in Education with a specialization in ESL and has taught ESL for sixteen years in a variety of settings, including public and private schools at the primary and secondary levels. She has also taught workplace ESL, adult Continuing Education conversation classes and private tutoring. | ||
