Parking
Center for Documentary Studies: No permit is required in this parking lot.
East Campus (including The Bishop's House):
Parking is available in The Bishop's House lot, or the Bivins
lot. No permit is required on the weekends or after 5 PM on
weekdays.
On occasions where there is a daytime class or event in
The Bishop's House a temporary permit will be issued at no charge and
will be available from your instructor at the first session of your
class.
Erwin Square Mill Building: No permit is required in this parking lot. Use marked Visitor spaces only.
West Campus: Two options are available:
Night Permit: $16 (2008-2009 academic year rate), one-time purchase
This option is recommended for students taking multiple classes, or a multi-session class.
This permit can be used for any Evening & Weekend Course held in West Campus/Science Drive buildings and allows holders to park in Parking Garage IV (adjacent to the Bryan Center). This permit expires each August regardless of when in the course of the year it is purchased.
To obtain a parking permit:
Keep the machine-generated ticket that is issued upon entry of the deck. Instructors will issue vouchers on the first night of class. Present the voucher and the ticket to the parking attendant upon exiting the deck after class to purchase the permit.
Parking Voucher: $3/class session (special DCS rate)
This option is recommended for single one- or two-session classes.
The voucher is for Parking Garage IV.

Note: Students who are Duke Employees can use their Duke ID card to park after 5 PM and on weekends in Parking Garage IV. They do not need to purchase a parking permit or obtain a voucher.
