The Duke HR Management (SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP certification preparation course) program is a 35 hour course designed primarily for individuals seeking credentials that focus on identifying and testing the knowledge and practical real-life experiences HR professionals around the world need to excel in their careers today. The course is held in both Raleigh and Durham twice per year (March and September) over 10 week nights; a four-day intensive offering is also available each winter.
The HR Management program is taught by SHRM-CP and SPHR certified instructors with at least 10 years of experience in the industry. Instructors use the official SHRM Learning System for SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP that includes five modules covering the comprehensive SHRM Body of Competency and Knowledge™ (SHRM BoCK™) so students learn everything needed for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP exam. Key topics include: People, Organization, Workforce, Strategy and HR Behavioral Competencies.
