As late summer transitions to fall, the view and jobs around the farm continue to change, adapting to the sunrise and sunset, falling temperatures, and bird migration. Join a group at the farm for a program this fall and be surrounded by all the season has to offer as you fellowship and learn. In this first session, learn what is in season for fall harvesting, a bit of cultural history, and how to create with fresh produce and botanicals to grace your table for celebrating fall's bounty with fresh and fun ideas. Decorative edible dishes and arrangements will be discussed. Who would not love soup topped with edible fall flowers or a vase of glowing blue green kale? Date and time: Monday, September 25, 9:00 AM until noon. Supply fee: $20.00, half as a donation to the Duke Campus Farm and the other half for supplies to create your personal arrangement to take home. Hands-On Activity
