OLLI at Duke Registration System Login Update & Instructions

Beginning July 1, the registration system on learnmore.duke.edu, where OLLI at Duke members register for courses, will use Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), a security feature already used by many banks, healthcare providers, and online services. After entering your user name and password, you'll receive an email containing a six-digit verification code needed to complete your sign-in.

If you are a new member and fill out the form under I am a new student, you will not be sent a code when creating your account, but you will on future logins using the returning student form.

Here are screenshots of the process:

Step 1: Log in to your account in the Student Portal under I am a returning student.

Step 2: The login screen will update and prompt you to check the email address associated with your OLLI account, where you will receive a 6-digit code. Copy this code.

*TIP: Open your email in a new tab of your browser (e.g. Chrome, Edge, Safari) window. If you do not see the email in your inbox, check your SPAM or junk folders.

Step 3: Return to the login screen, enter or paste the 6-digit code into the text box. Before hitting Submit, you have the option to check the box next to “Trust this device for 5 days” so you will not be asked for a code again for five days. For this feature to work, you must use the same browser on the same device for those five days.

Notes: Your 6-digit code will expire after 60 minutes. If you start the login process, receive your code, but do not complete logging in within that time frame, you will need to restart the login process and get a new code.

If you mistype your code in the box 20 times, your account will be locked for 15 minutes, after which time, it will automatically unlock. To have your account unlocked before the 15 minutes are up, contact our registration team at olli@duke.edu or (919) 660-8552.
