Course Description

As a pioneering health professional in integrated mind-body approaches and palliative care, the instructor spent 30 years listening to and speaking with people facing major life changes. He learned one of the biggest stressors in life we face is waiting and not knowing. For many, the COVID-19 pandemic has presented the greatest uncertainty of our lives, much waiting and not knowing. At the same time, other stressors, such as changes in health, finances, or lifestyle for ourselves, our family, and our friends, also creates uncertainty. In this course, the instructor will share tools and strategies for navigating uncertainty he crafted from his clinical practice, research, and friendship with Ram Dass. Using lecture, guided practice, and facilitated discussion, participants will learn how to meet uncertainty with a quiet, curious mind and an open heart.
