ONLINE: Yoga nidra is a systematic approach to relaxation. Research has shown that yoga nidra can get people into the same brain wave pattern as deep sleep while they remain aware. Students in the instructor's classes often remark on how relaxed and refreshed they feel after a 30-minute practice. Using lecture, gentle movement, guided breathing and yoga nidra, students will learn about and experience specific techniques and practices. Each class will have a different focus. The practice will always include deep relaxation, but, for example, may focus on healing, improving cognition or connecting to the heart.
