Course Description
ONLINE: Is the U.S. always one of the "top" countries in the world? Let's review the U.S. position in the global "top 10" rankings in eight major categories and 25 subtopics for 2022: the economy (GDP, wages, taxes, etc.), the environment (global warming, pollution, etc.), energy (sources, consumption and uses), education (achievement levels, trends, etc.), health care (costs, outcomes and future trends), crime and safety (crime rates, firearm usage, suicides, etc.), happiest countries and the future! We’ll also take a look at the national prosperity index and a change readiness index. All charts and links to data sources will be provided to participants to review one week in advance so you can comfortably and effectively participate in discussions.
