Beginner Yoga provides participants with foundational poses and gives a glimpse into what yoga is all about. Yoga is a postural alignment practice that draws awareness to our bodies through yoga poses, breath work, and centering techniques. Skills and techniques are taught and discussed so everyone gains an understanding of how not only to implement the pose but also how the pose helps the participant. Each class is designed with clear, concise instructions to help participants move through the movement and decide if they would like a little more work or not. Yoga is focused on breathing, drawing the awareness inward, and listening to the body. If modifications are needed, then that is an option as well. Beginner Yoga is perfect for everyone!
