Course Description

Drones have become more than just toys. Drones are tools that are being used in medicine, research, investigations, consumer use, and in so many other ways. Drone technology is revolutionizing everyday life and projected to be a multibillion-dollar industry over the next ten years. Participants in the Drone Innovation Camp @ Duke will learn problem solving skills using the engineering design process by custom designing their own drone on CAD, 3D printing their creation, build and test the drone by flying it. Drone History and Uses (surveying, commerce, search and rescue, etc.)
