"They just don't get it " is a common sentiment often echoed by younger generations when describing their parents or older relatives. Conversely older generations are apt to say this younger generation is too impatient, too technology driven and don't know how to communicate effectively. Generation gaps have existed forever and are not about to change soon. However, through a better understanding of how significant events, people, technologies, peer groups, music, etc. helped shaped each generation during their formative years we can better appreciate their values, attitudes, work ethic, career aspirations and most importantly how they view other generations. Thus the focus of this course is to help narrow generational gaps through a highly interactive, thought provoking and often humorous look at the five living generations: Veterans, Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials, and yes even the newest generation- Gen Z (under 22yrs old) Lecture (plus Questions)Facilitated DiscussionViewing Videos
