Course Description

There is so much more to yoga than being able to touch your toes! This ten-week series explores how yoga’s ancient philosophy sheds light on our modern lives. Each week will focus on one aspect of yoga. You will experience many different practices, including posture (asana), gesture (mudra), breath (pranayama), sense withdrawal (pratyahara), focus (dharana), meditation (dhyana), and yoga nidra. Learn how the practices build upon each other to bring you closer to embodying the goal of yoga, a union of body, mind, and spirit. Exercise or Dance Lecture (plus Questions)
