Course Description

This course builds upon the student’s drawing skills and practices, at any experience level. Whether responding to a work in progress or to weekly challenge suggestions, this course is focused on helping each student realize his or her potential in drawing. Materials needed are a drawing surface/board, drawing paper, graphite pencils, charcoal, conte crayons, and an eraser (for graphite). There is a fee of $10 for all materials for new students or $5 for students with their own drawing surface and tools who need additional paper and media. | Lecture (plus questions); Facilitated discussion; Active participation

Required supplies/fee: Estimated costs of required materials is $5 to $10. The $10 fee provides all material/supplies needed for those who may not have them at hand. Included in the fee; drawing surface/board, paper as needed, graphite pencil, charcoal, conte crayon, eraser (for graphite.) Returning students who bring their drawing board and tools will pay a $5 fee to cover additional paper and media.
