Summer Academy for High School Students

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Duke Youth Programs, Duke Summer College, Duke Summer Academy, and Duke Accelerated STEM Academy on-campus programs have been cancelled for the 2020 summer season to ensure the health and safety of our participants and staff. Application and program fees paid to Duke for these cancelled programs will be refunded. Unfortunately, Duke cannot reimburse the cost of any travel or supplies purchased in preparation for our programs. We apologize for any inconvenience this announcement may cause. We hope to offer various online learning enrichment opportunities later this summer and will update our website when more information is available. Have fun and enjoy personal enrichment classes with academically-motivated students from around the world in Duke University’s Summer Academy for High School Students.  Students currently in grades 9 - 12 are eligible to apply.  We begin accepting applications on December 3, 2018.  

Summer Academy for High School Students, a three-week, non-credit-bearing program offered by Duke University, attracts students who represent the next generation of global citizens from around the world.  Enroll in this elite program and immerse yourself in an international experience designed to provide an academic and residential environment through which you will gain a global perspective on multiple areas of interest for young leaders.
