Online Refund and Transfer Policy

There are no refunds, cancellations, or transfers for online, self-paced courses.

Course Extension Policy

A one-time 60 day extension may be granted to students who demonstrate in writing (via email to digitalmedia-marketing@duke.edu) the reason required to complete the program.  Requests will be considered by the Program Manager and a response will be delivered via email. It is at the discretion of the Program Manager to determine if the situation warrants an extension.

If an extension is granted the student must complete the program within 60 days.  No further extensions will be granted.  If a student cannot finish the program within that extension window, and desires to finish the program, they will be responsible for purchasing the program again in its entirety at full tuition.
