SalesForce Administrator Certification Prep provides industry-relevant curriculum through both lectures and real-world lab sessions under the guidance of expert practitioners. Class meetings are held on Monday and Wednesday evenings for the first 7 weeks, and on Tuesday and Thursday the final week. During class, the instructor reinforces curriculum and provides an overview of the hands-on exercises that students will work on in teams with the instructor providing support. Outside of class, students are working on their own but have access to experts through a Slack channel.
Learners are provided with more than technical knowledge, however. They are also given professional development through professional skills assignments and networking opportunities.
The culminating event of the Program is the Capstone Presentation. During this facilitated session, students will showcase the Salesforce solutions they have developed throughout their hands-on labs. This presentation simulates how clients and teams interact to deliver digital transformation projects, providing a valuable and practical experience.
Upon course completion, the learner will be able to:
Instructor Bio: I began my career as an Accidental Admin, initially navigating the platform through a combination of Google searches, YouTube tutorials, and a lot of trial and error. Despite the steep learning curve, this experience sparked a deep passion for Salesforce and a strong commitment to enablement. Over the years, I've had the chance to do a bit of everything in the Salesforce world. I've worked for both big and small consulting firms, helped internal teams with their system strategies, and ran Commerce Cloud Partner Field Enablement efforts at Salesforce.
At Camp4, my goal is to create learning experiences that help individuals become skilled practitioners on the platform, emphasizing practical skills rather than just aiming for certifications.
Beyond Salesforce, I love backpacking, trying new restaurants, hanging out with my family and golfing.
We recommend that students review resources on basic spreadsheet usage and be comfortable using a web browser.
Because in-class team projects are a crucial part of this program, attendance is extremely important. Students must complete all course content, including labs. Students must also pass all quizzes, lab work, and the Capstone Project with an 80% or better.
This program is 100% online, so students must have dependable access to a computer with internet and must have a program that allows them to manipulate data in spreadsheets such as Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers, etc. We recommend Chrome as the best browser to use, but Safari is also acceptable.
This program is offered Monday and Wednesday evenings, March 3 through April 16, and then Tuesday and Thursday, April 22 and 24.
Each week, the learner will engage with the curriculum online through video lectures, assignments, and labs. Two nights a week, the class will meet with the instructor via Zoom where there will be activities to reinforce learning and the opportunity to ask the instructor questions. Attendance at these sessions is required. In addition to class times, learners should plan to spend 6-8 hours a week on self-paced learning and labs.
