Leadership Development

What makes a great leader? Are there specific ethical commitments good leaders must have? How can texts such as stories and paintings teach us about the qualities of leadership? Discover your potential as a leader through the study of the humanities in this intensive one-week course! 

This leadership development experience offers a blend of interactive workshops, hands-on projects, and personal reflection, all centered on dynamic readings and discussions of stories, paintings, poems, and other humanities texts. Gain insights into various leadership styles and strategies while pondering the purpose and practice of ethical leadership. Immerse in your personal growth and self-awareness. How to Apply

  1. First, students apply to the Pre-College program, indicating their course(s) of interest. Apply now.
     
  2. After they receive notification of their acceptance into Duke Pre-College, they enroll in the course(s) indicated in their Pre-College Application.
